Established as part of the MGA Group — which began its pharmaceutical manufacturing journey as Sunvet Pharma Pvt Ltd in 2006 — the company has grown over 18+ years into a multi-unit manufacturing powerhouse with a strong presence across both (human pharmaceutical) and veterinary injectable segments.
We specialise in the manufacturing of sterile small-volume parenterals (SVP), solid oral dosage forms, and dry syrups — covering a comprehensive range of cephalosporins, beta-lactams, carbapenems, and general antibiotic formulations. (Our products are supplied to government institutions, public sector hospitals, private pharmaceutical companies, and international distributors across more than 20 countries.)

Founding of Sunvet Pharma Pvt Ltd
The MGA Group began its pharmaceutical manufacturing journey with the establishment of Sunvet Pharma Pvt Ltd in Kala Amb, Himachal Pradesh. The founding unit was purpose-built for sterile injectable manufacturing, with an absolute commitment to quality-first operations from day one.
First GMP Certification Achieved
Sunvet Pharma received its first GMP certification — a milestone that established the MGA Group's commitment to international quality standards from its earliest years. This certification opened the door to government hospital and institutional supply contracts across India.
Dedicated Cephalosporin Line Commissioned
A dedicated cephalosporin manufacturing area was commissioned with separate cleanroom infrastructure to ensure full cross-contamination control and product integrity. This capability expansion significantly broadened the group's antibiotic portfolio and market reach.
MGA Drugs Pvt Ltd Incorporated
MGA Drugs Pvt Ltd was incorporated as an independent entity within the group, with Unit 1 focused on beta-lactam formulations — injectables and solid oral dosage forms. The company simultaneously expanded its pan-India domestic supply presence across major Indian states.
First International Export Order Fulfilled
MGA Drugs fulfilled its first international export order, supplying pharmaceutical injectables to South African countries. This milestone formally marked the beginning of the company's international export journey and validated the readiness of its regulatory documentation infrastructure.
MGA Drugs Unit 2 Commissioned
The third manufacturing facility — MGA Drugs Unit 2 — was commissioned in Punjab, expanding total production capacity for dry powder injectables, liquid ampoules, and oral formulations. Combined product portfolio across the MGA Group exceeded 550 pharmaceutical formulations.
WHO-GMP Certification & 20+ Country Exports
All facilities achieved WHO-GMP compliance following successful independent audits. International reach expanded to 20+ countries across Africa, the Middle East, CIS, South Asia, and Southeast Asia. The company continues to expand its regulatory registrations across new export markets.
